New Admin Centre Launched
The new TownTalk Admin Centre has officially been launched. It has been designed to run in line with the new Version 5 TownTalk site which will be ready later in the year.
The new Admin Centre has been completely redesigned with ease of use in mind. Itís clear, concise and makes maintaining any TownTalk site very easy.
The development team have worked on the principle that everything must be accessed in just two clicks! Alex Pashley, Development Director said;
"This wasnít an easy challenge. Using the old Admin Centre as starting point, we quickly realised that there were some elements that needed user input even after five clicks so getting this down to just two for EVERY feature did prove difficult"
The new system incorporates many new features and will be home for lots more to come. Super Users for the TownTalk sites have so much more control over their content making it much easier to modify and update important information. Significant improvements have also been made to the Alerts and Validex System seeing as user submissions are proving to be more and more popular.
New control features will also be added from month to month that will enhance the way in which static content can be modified dynamically.
