TownTalk has officially launched its new website which provides news and information as well as a portal through in to the TownTalk network.

The new site has been built with the new TownTalk Version 5 template in mind. Although it doesn’t look much like the new template will when its launched later this year, it does take in to account some of the aesthetics and functionality.

The new website has been built using the latest web technologies and will prove to be a valuable asset for members and visitors across the network.

One of the new features includes a national search which allows users to find anything, anywhere. From news and events through to businesses and offers, everything has been included in this highly sophisticated key word search.

Other new features include and interactive national map that also supplies users with interesting facts and information about that town.

"It has been a challenging project, one that we have not taken lightly” said Operations Director, Matt Abrams. “We wanted to make a big impact with the new site and we are keen to show off our rebranding ready for the official launch of TownTalk Version 5 later this year."

"Our team have team have put a lot of effort and thought into the new site but we are very keen to hear what our users think and would therefore welcome any comments (good or bad) so that we can continue to make improvements."

"I am very optimistic about the site and hope that it will improve user experience across the network."
